Cleaning the tools-

Meticulously and regularly clean your splicing equipments. Some particles are not visible to our naked eye and that can cause a great problem in future while working with the fiber machine. Cleaning will not only save your time but also money.

Maintain your cleaver-

Maintain and wield your cleaver because it is the most important tool in Splicing. Buy good quality cleaver from the market which can work for a long duration of time. If you buy low quality cleaver the fiber ends won't melt and will lead to other issues. Fiber splicing machine price in India is also very reasonable and affordable for clients.

Parameters-

You should adjust fusion parameters very least as possible because if you keep on changing it in middle, it might create a problem. Thus, it may lead to undesirable results. You should check dirty tools first. The two important factors of Fusion splicing are time and current.

While splicing, we accidentally break or cut the optical fiber and main reason behind this trouble is cutting the backhoe. Don't worry accidents happen! You can do one thing to fix it, find the backhoe and procure the fiber cables. If you still can't find it then you have to use some tools. You can go through the below steps recommended for you.

·         Firstly, find the cut in your cable wire. OTDR is used to sense the cable; it will divert the gadget once it comes in contact with the break.

·         Once the break is found, carefully dig up the cable and cut the fiber cable at least 10ft using rip cord.

·         Strip the covering carefully which exposes the fiber tubes.

·         Clean the fiber with gel and gently separate the tubes from fiber.

·         Clip the damaged fiber ends using the cutter.

·         Add fusion splice shield, if you want to use that method to the fiber.

·         Clean the fiber gently with alcohol or aqueous solution and make sure not to touch the fiber after cleaning. Lint free wipes are perfect for this.

·         Put both the fiber ends into the Fusion splice and join it with the help of the machine.

·         After joining add the shield to protect the fiber and keep it connected to heat it.
